26-year Old Suffered Traumatic Brain Injury As A Result Of Bicycle Accident

This case came to us after the Morgan & Morgan law firm in Orlando looked into this case, and turned it down. Our client’s family didn’t know where else to turn until one of the father’s friends from work referred him to us.

Our client is an outstanding young man who was a doctoral student at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, at the time of this very serious bicycle accident. He was an avid outdoorsman and adventure traveler, and had a very bright professional future ahead of him — which included the expectation that he would make a very nice living.

Because of the injuries he suffered in the subject bicycle accident, our client now functions at an elementary school level mentally. While his orthopedic injuries have healed, he still has significant challenges with balance and mobility. Nevertheless, our client continues to work very, very hard to get better. It was an honor for us to represent him.

At the conclusion of this claim, we were able to establish a Trust for our client’s benefit which should be sufficient for him to continue to live at home, and to receive in-home care, for the rest of his life.
